PALM ROOM

This bright, comfortable room sits directly on the beach just steps to the water. It features a queen size bed. The Palm room also has an intimate, private patio with a direct view to the Caribbean Sea where you can lounge in your hammock or read in the Honduran made Adirondack chairs. Because of its proximity to the sea, the constant Trade Winds ensure that your days and evenings will always be pleasant and comfortable.

The Palm Room is located right on the beach which gives you instant access to the Caribbean Sea.  The Palm Room’s secluded, private patio allows you to lounge on a hammock or while away your time on locally made Adirondack chairs.  Watch and listen to the ocean waves lap up onto the sandy beach which sits right outside your door.  You’re still close to the restaurant, bar and all the activities that our Roatan Eco Lodge is known for.  Large enough for a small family, the Palm Room is bright and inviting.  Louvered doors and windows that are so popular on many Roatan resorts allow you to take advantage of the northeasterly trade winds which will keep your room cool and free of flying insects.  A queen size bed provides a comfortable night’s sleep in this tropical island paradise.  Camp Bay Eco Lodge is the hidden gem of an East End Roatan hotel that you’ve been looking for.

SUNSET CABANA

Located directly on the beach this upper level, two-bedroom cabana has a great view over the Caribbean Sea and the mountains. The cabana and the balcony are built out of local hardwoods ensuring you the feeling of being at one with nature and the beauty of the sea and the mountains that surround you.  The master bedroom has a queen size bed and is connected with large screened French doors to the balcony allowing for a peaceful night sleep listening to the sound of the sea.  The second bedroom has a full size bed and views directly to the mountains. The fully equipped kitchenette creates an open concept with the living room which flows out onto the spacious balcony through large French doors for a day of reading or napping in a comfortable hammock. The cabana features a sofa bed allowing this cabana to comfortably sleep 6.  This cabana provides the most privacy while still being located directly over-looking the beach.

The Sunset Cabana is situated directly on the beach and allows you to enjoy the soothing sounds of the Caribbean Sea as it lulls you to sleep and gently awakens you in the morning.  One of the largest accommodations at our Roatan Eco Lodge, the Sunset Cabana is big enough to sleep six with two bedrooms and a sofa bed.  The master bedroom has large, screened, French double doors that open out directly onto the private, covered balcony.  The second bedroom offers fabulous views of the mountains.  A fully equipped kitchenette features a stove, oven, full sized fridge, coffee maker and optional air conditioning.  The living area also opens onto the private balcony which features a hammock and locally made Adirondack chairs for relaxing.  For those travelling as a group, the Sunset Cabana offers plenty of space while allowing you to remain together.  In the Sunset Cabana at Camp Bay Lodge, you’re afforded privacy while still having a front row view of the Caribbean Sea.

SEAGRAPE ROOM

This bright well-appointed beachfront room offers custom made Honduran furniture with a comfortable queen size bed.  It includes a mini-fridge and is connected with large screened French doors onto its own private deck with a comfortable hammock right on the sand, and steps to the Caribbean Sea. You cannot get any closer to the water than this, and a night sleeping in this room with the French doors open is heaven. You cannot help but be soothed by the Caribbean breezes caressing the sea grape and palm trees just feet from your room.  A stay in the Seagrape Room ensures that you will experience the ultimate feel of the Caribbean, east end Roatan, and The Camp Bay Lodge.

The Seagrape Room is a bright beachfront lodging that allows you to fall asleep and wake up to the hypnotic sounds of the Caribbean Sea.  Large French double doors swing open directly onto the beach making this one of the most popular guest rooms at our Roatan Eco Lodge.  Relax in the hammock or kick back in the locally made Adirondack chairs on your private deck before treading the short expanse of sand to the water.  Keep yourself cool with the ceiling fan and optional air conditioning while keeping your drinks cold in the mini fridge.  The Seagrape Room is appointed with custom made Honduran furniture while a queen size bed provides a restful night’s sleep.  The Seagrape Room is named after the native tree that bears grape-like fruit clusters in coastal beach environments around Roatan resorts and the rest of the Caribbean.  If a relaxed, tropical island getaway is what you’re looking for, Camp Bay Lodge provides.

KITESURF ROOM

The Kitesurf Room is a great choice for our guests that want to enjoy kite surfing or take advantage of the Roatan Kite School on premise. This is a fully renovated room featuring a queen bed, but can also be configured with two twin beds if requested in advance. The renovations include a spacious new bathroom with handmade cement sink and bath tiles. The simple entrance provides easy access to The Lodge restaurant and bar, but most folks enjoy the double doors opening on to a very intimate, private deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the grassy area used for cleaning and drying the kites after a day on the water. Because of the way this room is situated, it offers some of the most private outside space at The Lodge when relaxing outside in your hammock after a day enjoying the many activities available at The Lodge.

One of the unique activities that our Roatan Eco Lodge is so well-known for its kite surfing in Honduras.  Thus, it’s only fitting to have a room named for those who have the sense of adventure and daring required for this exciting sport.  Large enough for a small family, the Kitesurf Room is fully renovated with a new bathroom composed of sleek Honduran handmade tiling.  A Honduran, handmade queen-sized bed provides you with a comfortable night’s rest after a day on the waves.  Double doors open onto a private deck that overlooks the Caribbean Sea and the kitesurfing launch point.  Lounge in the hammock provided and enjoy one of the most secluded spots on our Roatan boutique resort.  The proximity to the restaurant and bar means that breakfast is only steps away.  Get a taste of authentic Roatan beach life with an adventurous, but laidback stay in our Camp Bay Lodge Kitesurf Room.

SURF STUDIO

The Surf Room has undergone a complete face lift with all new furniture, a new Honduran cement bathroom, louvered windows and doors plus the addition of a kitchenette. The room features a Queen size bed with a pullout bed, a private bathroom, mini-fridge, stove top, microwave and AC unit.

The Surf Studio is our most budget friendly studio with kitchen at our Roatan Eco Lodge. It sleeps two with a queen sized bed and an additional kid on the pull out bed. The kitchen features a fridge, microwave, stove top. A private ensuite bathroom makes this self contained unit perfect for a longer stay at the beach with the Caribbean Sea only mere footsteps away while our restaurant and bar will provide you with authentic island meals and refreshing tropical drinks.  There’s more than plenty of beachfront space for sunbathing and relaxing without having to hunt for a seat.  If you’re feeling adventurous, you can kick it up a notch with sea kayaking, kitesurfing, snorkeling and diving.  Or you can realign your body and spirit with yoga or a massage session.  Camp Bay Lodge is the tropical island retreat and secluded Roatan resort you’ve been searching for.

LIME TREE ROOM

If you want to stay right on the beach and enjoy The Camp Bay Lodge amenities without having to pay big bucks this is our most affordable option. It is perfect for backpackers to share or solo travelers on a budget. This newly completed room is on the ground floor of The Camp Bay Lodge back building. It features a private bathroom made with handmade Honduran tiles and sink, and multiple ceiling fans with louver doors & windows for your comfort. The Lime Tree Room opens onto the garden space and is steps from the beach, The Lodge restaurant and bar, and all the activities that our Eco Lodge provides.

For those who are travelling alone, on a budget, the Lime Tree room offers currently a full bed plus 1 single bed that are mere steps away from the Caribbean Sea (it could also be configured with 3 single beds).  The Lime Tree Room is a newly completed addition to the back building of our Roatan Eco Lodge and offers budget-conscious accommodations with all the comforts of our more expensive offerings.  Bright and breezy with plenty of louvered windows and ceiling fans, the Lime Tree Room takes advantage of the cooling northeasterly trade winds that are an iconic cornerstone of so many boutique Roatan resorts.  A private bathroom has been tastefully designed with Honduran, handmade tiles and fixtures.  The Lime Tree room offers easy access to the restaurant, beach and all the activities that our Roatan Eco Lodge has to offer.  It’s treasured spaces such as the Lime Tree Room at Camp Bay Lodge that continue to fuel backpacker enthusiasm.
