SUNRISE CABANA

Located directly on the beach, this upper level, two-bedroom cabana has a great view over the Caribbean Sea. This cabana is the most spacious of the available accommodations at The Lodge. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and has screened French doors opening onto the private balcony so you can sleep to the sound of gentle waves lapping on the beach. The second bedroom has a full size bed and beautiful views of the sea as well. The open living space provides direct access onto the private balcony and offers a fully equipped kitchenette. The living space includes a sofa bed allowing for an additional 2 sleeping accommodations. This space also has a big door to the balcony to enjoy the views and breezes. All parts of the cabana offer great views of the sea or the mountains and excellent trade winds eliminating the need for AC. This cabana is ideal for families, a group of friends, or for long term rental.

The Sunrise Cabana is the largest and most spacious accommodation available at our Roatan Eco Lodge. With room for up to six, this upper level, two bedroom cabana is located directly on the beach and provides both mountain and oceanfront views along with spectacular sunrises. The open concept living area has a sofa bed and opens onto the private balcony. Relax in the hammock or on the Honduran crafted Adirondack chairs while taking in the dulcet sounds of the Caribbean Sea. The fully equipped kitchenette features a full sized fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and panini press. As with many Roatan resorts, louvered windows and doors allow you to take advantage of the northeasterly trade winds to keep the cabana cool and free of flying insects. If you’re travelling with family or are looking for a long term vacation rental, the Sunrise Cabana at Camp Bay Eco Lodge should be high on your list.

Practice with one of our certified yoga teacher at your convenience* or simply use our yoga platform at your ease. Group lessons & private lessons are hold upon reservation. Price varies between $15-70/hr depending on teacher.

Please note our open-air yoga platform is over looking the sea and is located on the second floor above our small restaurant. You will enjoy the breeze and mountain view.

KITESURF

KITESURF ROATAN

Please note every independent Kiteboarder is obligated to pay a Daypass ($10) in order to have access to the kite landing and launching zones in front of the Camp Bay Lodge. The intention behind is to ensure that everybody has a great and safe experience on the beach and in the water. We provide you with a team of experienced local kite assistants always there to help you out, launch & land, boat rescue and if you wish as well handling all your gear (extra fee)!

The Kite School “Kitesurf Roatan” is open from December 15th until September 15th and specialized in lessons for beginner to advanced and exclusive excursions to the best spots all over the Bay Islands of Honduras especially Roatan & Guanaja. The shop is located directly at the hotel and provides high quality kites & boards from CORE Kiteboarding. The kite school is known to provide you with an excellent service and a fast learning method always with safety as priority.

ARECA TREE ROOM

The Areca Tree Room is one of the final rooms completed in The Camp Bay Lodge back building. It is on the second floor and at the northeast corner of the building with large louvered French doors and windows on three sides providing a breezy open atmosphere and side views to the Caribbean Sea. This room features a queen bed, full bath with hand-made Honduran tiles and sink, and a mini-fridge. In addition to a view of the beach, this room provides a view to the garden, and the mangrove forest. While the location and orientation of this room will certainly provide for a cool comfortable stay, a ceiling fan will provide additional cooling if needed. On your porch you will have a comfortable hammock for outside rest and relaxation.

The Areca Tree Room at our Roatan Eco Lodge is the most recent completion at our Roatan resort back building. Situated on the second floor, it provides views of the Caribbean Sea, the mangrove forest and the grounds. Relax in the hammock included on your porch or open up the windows and double doors to make the most of the breezy trade winds and island sunlight. You have your own full bath with sleek, handmade Honduran tiling and a comfortable queen bed to relax in after a day on the beach. A fridge and microwave allow you to keep and prepare snacks, while our restaurant will provide you with authentic island meals. There’s enough room for a small family, a couple or a single person looking for extra space. The Areca Tree Room is named after the palm trees that create the backdrop of most Roatan resorts and other tropical locations. Camp Bay Lodge is the hidden Roatan resort you’ve been searching for.

NONI TREE ROOM

The Noni Tree Room is another of the final rooms completed in The Camp Bay Lodge back building. It is on the second floor of the building with large louvered French doors and windows providing a comfortable breezy atmosphere, and side views to the Caribbean Sea. This room features a queen bed, full bath with hand-made Honduran tiles and sink, and a mini-fridge. In addition to a view of the beach, this room provides a view to the garden, and the mangrove forest. A ceiling fan and optional standing fan will provide additional cooling if the constant Northeast Trade Winds are not sufficient.

The Noni Tree Room is one of the more recent additions to the back building at our Roatan Eco Lodge. Designed to accommodate a small family, the Noni Tree Room provides lush, second floor views of the beach, garden and mangrove forest. Hang out in hammocks on the deck while enjoying the warm, tropical air. Louvered doors and windows that are characteristic of so many Roatan resorts allow the northeasterly trade winds to keep the room cool and the bugs at bay. A full bath and sink using Honduran, handmade tiles provide a sleek and modern look that belies the traditional island setting. A king sized bed provides ample room for a good night’s sleep. The Noni Tree Room is named after the tropical tree that produces fruit, leaves and roots that are used in traditional medicines, dyes, oils, cosmetic products and juice drinks. This Camp Bay Eco Lodge accommodation is a favorite amongst our returning families and small groups.

We love to stay engaged! There is so much needs around and in the community. From supporting the marine park on protecting the reef to rescuing turtles, to extra teaching, events and gifts in our local schools, beach clean up activities and so on, we’ve been present and invite you to do the same!

If you feel the call, there is so many projects possible.

Creativity and time are the only requirement.

Donations ideas: Kids love to play football (soccer), any balls and boots (Size 5-9 US) are welcome or even schooling materials (such as back pack and pen).
