ARECA TREE ROOM

The Areca Tree Room is one of the final rooms completed in The Camp Bay Lodge back building. It is on the second floor and at the northeast corner of the building with large louvered French doors and windows on three sides providing a breezy open atmosphere and side views to the Caribbean Sea. This room features a queen bed, full bath with hand-made Honduran tiles and sink, and a mini-fridge. In addition to a view of the beach, this room provides a view to the garden, and the mangrove forest. While the location and orientation of this room will certainly provide for a cool comfortable stay, a ceiling fan will provide additional cooling if needed. On your porch you will have a comfortable hammock for outside rest and relaxation.

The Areca Tree Room at our Roatan Eco Lodge is the most recent completion at our Roatan resort back building. Situated on the second floor, it provides views of the Caribbean Sea, the mangrove forest and the grounds. Relax in the hammock included on your porch or open up the windows and double doors to make the most of the breezy trade winds and island sunlight. You have your own full bath with sleek, handmade Honduran tiling and a comfortable queen bed to relax in after a day on the beach. A fridge and microwave allow you to keep and prepare snacks, while our restaurant will provide you with authentic island meals. There’s enough room for a small family, a couple or a single person looking for extra space. The Areca Tree Room is named after the palm trees that create the backdrop of most Roatan resorts and other tropical locations. Camp Bay Lodge is the hidden Roatan resort you’ve been searching for.

The Noni Tree Room is another of the final rooms completed in The Camp Bay Lodge back building. It is on the second floor of the building with large louvered French doors and windows providing a comfortable breezy atmosphere, and side views to the Caribbean Sea. This room features a queen bed, full bath with hand-made Honduran tiles and sink, and a mini-fridge. In addition to a view of the beach, this room provides a view to the garden, and the mangrove forest. A ceiling fan and optional standing fan will provide additional cooling if the constant Northeast Trade Winds are not sufficient.

The Noni Tree Room is one of the more recent additions to the back building at our Roatan Eco Lodge. Designed to accommodate a small family, the Noni Tree Room provides lush, second floor views of the beach, garden and mangrove forest. Hang out in hammocks on the deck while enjoying the warm, tropical air. Louvered doors and windows that are characteristic of so many Roatan resorts allow the northeasterly trade winds to keep the room cool and the bugs at bay. A full bath and sink using Honduran, handmade tiles provide a sleek and modern look that belies the traditional island setting. A king sized bed provides ample room for a good night’s sleep. The Noni Tree Room is named after the tropical tree that produces fruit, leaves and roots that are used in traditional medicines, dyes, oils, cosmetic products and juice drinks. This Camp Bay Eco Lodge accommodation is a favorite amongst our returning families and small groups.

It is perfect for backpackers to share or solo travelers on a budget. This newly completed room is on the ground floor of The Camp Bay Lodge back building. It features a private bathroom made with handmade Honduran tiles and sink, and multiple ceiling fans with louver doors & windows for your comfort. The Lime Tree Room opens onto the garden space and is steps from the beach, The Lodge restaurant and bar, and all the activities that our Eco Lodge provides.

For those who are travelling alone, on a budget, the Lime Tree room offers currently a full bed plus 1 single bed that are mere steps away from the Caribbean Sea (it could also be configured with 3 single beds). The Lime Tree Room is a newly completed addition to the back building of our Roatan Eco Lodge and offers budget-conscious accommodations with all the comforts of our more expensive offerings. Bright and breezy with plenty of louvered windows and ceiling fans, the Lime Tree Room takes advantage of the cooling northeasterly trade winds that are an iconic cornerstone of so many boutique Roatan resorts. A private bathroom has been tastefully designed with Honduran, handmade tiles and fixtures. The Lime Tree room offers easy access to the restaurant, beach and all the activities that our Roatan Eco Lodge has to offer.
